Antagonist
Jack is the antagonist in Lord of the Flies. Jack is the leader of the hunters and starts munipulating everyone on the island. Jack is one of the older boys on the island. Jack becomes good at manipulating th other kids and gets everyone on his side. Jack is like the more savage hunter type and ralph is like the smart thinking calm type.

Jack gets all the other kids on board with him by being promising them "fun" and food, he is interested in the presence while Ralph is trying to think ahead and how they can get off the island. Jack puts on face paint to try to cover up his weakness and essentially brings out the worst in all kids making them the true monsters that they fear.
